Bertram enlisted in the Marine Corps’ Delayed Entry Program for the Adminstrative Field.A senior at New Castle Senior High School, he is scheduled to report June 27 for basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Following basic training he will attend a Millitary Occupational Specialty School for administration.Bentram was recruited by Staff Sgt. Dwight J. Woodie from the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office in NewCastle.
