Leavenworth.Mrs. Fred Shirck Jr., and Mrs. Margaret Bookout went to Topeka Wednesday to visit their jso niece, Jaunita Lux, who is ill in the er hospital.Mr. and Mrs. John Kennedy and family spent Christmas eve. and Christmas with Mrs. Kennedy’s mother. Mrs. Alice Drake in Topeka. Karen Sue Newell returned home with them to spend a few davs.Mr. and Mrs. William Fincher and family of San Diego. Calif., spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fincher. They are now visiting relatives in Topeka.Mrs. Lillian Penfold entertained with a family dinner Christmas. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Landis Penfold and family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Ward. Mr. and Mrs. j Rex Roberts and family, and Clay i and Qaude Penfold. jBeuford Taylor arrived home last week after receiving his dis-charge at Norman. Okla. Mr. and jMrs. Taylor and son have moved back to their own home. Mrs. Taylor and Donnie made their home with Mrs. Taylor’s parents.
