William SWhite flowers lined the aisle of the San Juan Capistrano Community Presbyterian Church Sun-day afternoon, Nov. 26, when Virginia Faye Speer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Speer, recited marriage vows with Lieutenant William Smythe Webb, of the U. S. Army Air Forces, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Webb, of Kirkland, Texas, at a beautifulcandlelight service.Dr. Win. S. Middlemass officiated at the impressive double ring ceremony, ,which was witnessed by a large number of friends and relatives of the bride.The lovely brunette bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin trimmed at the neckline with lacevaria.A reception followed the ceremony, held at the home of thebride’s parents, for the bridal party and relatives. A three tier wedding cake, surrounded by gardenias. graced the tea table. Tall lighted white tapers added a soft glow as the bride cut her wedding cake.The bride, a graduate of Capistrano Union High School, is a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She was very popular in all community activities, and was especially active in the Community Church where she served for many years as organist.Lt. Webb attended West Texas State College and is a member of the Tau-Tau-Tau fraternity. He recently returned from 14 months service in the Aleutians. At presents he is in a hospital at Santa Anna for a check up.The bride will accompany her husband to the Santa Monica Relocation Center where he will be stationed for a short time. From there he will be send to Midland, Texas, where he will attend an instructors school, following which he will be assigned to Ins post.Honored Onmi * tSecond Birthday
