Buhl Shahan Is Released To Inactive Duty by NavyLt. Comdr, James Buhl Shahan. former slate director of purchases, has been relumed to Inactive duty with the Naval Reserve at the Naval personnel separation center. Washington. D. C.Last stationed at Shoemaker. Calif., where he served as deck court officer and public information officer, LK Comdr. Shahan was a member of the military government planning division of the Navy at Pearl Harbor and later assisted in planning the military occupation of Japan.He is a former member of the house of delegates and the state senate.
