Denny Ray Smith, son ofMr. and Mrs. Hewey Smith is now home on a 30 day leave during the Christmas holidays.He was met in Pikeville Momday morning by members of the family, following his long trip from France to New York on a plane and from New York to Fiketfille by train.He has been in the Air Force since August of 1951 and has been stationed in France since April of 1952 and will return there when he goes back.He graduated from Whites-hurg High School in 1949, and was very active in Iris subjects, especially band, and now at the preesnt time he is a tower operator.
