She was married to Clayton D. Axtell Oct. 13, 1934 and he died Nov. 5, 1973.She had worked at the old Ven-gold Dairy Story and at Ramsdale and Kunkel Book Store and for 25 years was employed at General Manifold and Printing Co.Mrs. Axtell was a member of the First Free Methodist Church here, the Goodwill Bible Class and the Women’s Missionary Society.She is survived by one nephew, Maurice Strawbridge of Conneaut, Ohio; four grand-nephews and one grand-niece, and two great-grand-nephews and one great-grand-niece.Three brothers, Clyde, Harry and Floyd Strawbridge; a sister, Ada McDonough, and a nephew, Eugene Strawbridge, are deceased.The body is at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Funeral services will be held there at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Ruggles, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
