uepot. _Sued for Libel.Rev. George II. Means, a well known South Methodiet preacher now stationed at Covington, has sued the Kentucky Deraokrat and its publisher J. V. Schiller for $23,000 damages for libol.Recently the Demokrat published a letter from Mrs. Kolin, wife of an ex-priest of that name, in which she charged Mr. Means aud her husband with conspiring to have her placed in an insane asylum. She was taken to Lakeland Asylum but remained only a day or so. The affair has caused a great deal of talk.A young lady living at Mt. Carmel is mentioned by Mrs. Kolin in no complimentary terms.
