An interesting letter was received, in Lordsburg, from a man who appeared to have some fond memories of the town.He got to Lordsburg by chance...When he started his travels, thousands of miles away, he never heard of Lordsburg,,,and probably, for that matter,,,New Mexico. His peregrination was not of his choice... he,,, a German prisoner, captured by the Allies and relocated to the Lordsburg prison camp. His letter to Don Johnson, manager of the local Community Public Service Co. requested pictures of Lordsburg. He said that his pictures of the town were taken away from him, at Liverpool, by the English Control. He went on to say that it is impossible for him to come back to Lordsburg, but the time that he lived there will be an ever happy memory. Will Krentz, the ex-prisoner of war, in the Lordsburg camp, now lives in Bad-Honnef which is about 6 miles from Bonn.
