Alexander of TL tonka, was on the ; large ill-fated plane with 32 onboard that crashed in the statc of Washington on Tuesday of last week. Ralph had a letter from his sister in Kansas City saying that she had been notified that her son was on the plane reported lost.Reports have been given out in the news that the wreckage of the plane had been sighted on Mi. Hauler and later reports were that it had been seen on another mountainside. Rut nothing definit has been reported.It seems that six planes left Portland together. Four planes returned to Portland when they encountered bad weather, but two of the planes continued, one reaching the destination, and the other was lost. Jpe Korte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Korte of Titbrtka, was on one of the planes that returned to Portland, and he wired his parents after getting back to Port-lrn/4
