HARRY DAVEY INSTANTLY KILLED IN LAST CHARGEHarry Davey, well known in and around Algona, was killed in action in France by machine gun fire in the last big American drive before the armistice was signed, according to a letter written November 18th by/ his ; chaplain and received last week by I E3. Ely, east of Algona. Harry was English by birth, hut came to this country ten years ago, and at different times worked for Joe Zanke, Mr. Ely, Win. Greenfield, HaTvey Simpson of Whittemore, and other Kossuth county farmers, He was only 22 years old,-and a good, clean young man, whom everybody liked. He volunteered to go with a Kossuth county contingent to a camp in Georgia last July. He had a brother Will in this country, who, at last Veports, was at Fort Dodge.
