Redman, dean of women, women students at Duquesne University have organized their own Defense Council to direct the various war activities being carried on at the university. Dorothy Budrls, a sophomore in the School of Nursing, was elected chairman of the council’s executive committee which includes Eleanor Santell, senior, Secondary Education; Alma Adams, junior, I Commercial Education; Elizabeth' Redding, sophomore, nursing; and Marie Hooper, freshman, nursing.
