Darden, of DeKnlb, lliekiuati county, Tennessee, was arrested yesterday ly the police, from the. fact of his supposed resemblance to a runaway negro from South Carolina, whose description was telegraphed to this city, with a request that he he arrested on his arrival here. The fugitive is charged in tho dispatch with running away with a white gil l, with a view of marriage. Fortunately for Mr. Harden, however, ho had little difficulty in proving himself to be of Anglo-Saxon blood, and was soon set at lil*erty again.
