Captain Boterweg Wins DecorationA Perry man, Captain Conrad Boterweg III, was decorated in ceremonies at the U. S. Adjutant General School at Fort Benjamin Harrison near Indianapolis, Ind., last week.Captain Boterweg was awarded the second oak leaf cluster to the Bronze Star Medal for outstanding meritorious service in Vietnam.He was cited for performance of duty in the highest traditions of the U. S. Army. The Adjutant General Corps officer is currently working in the office of the Director of Instruction and will attend an advanced officer training course starting in January.Commandant Colonel Nathan H. Hixon of Fort Harrison made the award.Captain Boterweg is the son of Mrs. Leita C. Boterweg of Perry.
