Ridgefied Wins Debate.Vader and Ridgefield debated here Friday evening in the opening debate of the season. Ridgefield, arguing the negative side of the World Court question, won over Vader, with theaffirmative. The Vader team wascomposed of Henry Christensen, Kitty Horr and Opal Ferrier, and Ridgefield was represented by HaroldHughes, Lulu Hibbard and Clifford Rowe. The judges were Rev. Eugene Duffy, W. A. Schoel and Geo. R. Thompson, all of Chehalis. After the debate the local team, visiting team, judges, Miss Johnson of the Ridgefield faculty, Superintendent Wilkinson and Miss Stringer were guests of the school at a banquet. About $25was realized during the evening from a sale of sandwiches and cakes and coffee. Reverend Liening presided over the debate as chairman.
