MENA South Haven serviceman, James McNeal, son of Mr. andMrs. William McNeal, 226 Michigan Ave., is serving his second stint with the Navy in Vietnam.A 1961 graduate of South Haven High School, McNeal is serving with the Navy’s “SwiftBoat” division.Swift sailors patrol the shores of Vietnam inspecting and searching junks and sampans which sail along the coastline from the 17th parallel to the Cambodian bonier.McNeal enlisted in the Navy in 1962 ami first served in the Beachmasters Unit He servednine months in Vietnam withthis unit. After returning to the United States in December, 1965 he re-enlisted for four years and volunteered for duty on theSwift Boats.He Is expected to be home onleave ha March.While at South Haven High School he was active on the football, basketball and baseball squads.
