JOSEPH M. TODDAVIATION CADET GRADUATEJoseph M. Todd, 24, formerly of Carrollton township, and a graduate of Carrollton Township high school was among the 64 Aviation Cadets representing 25 states to graduate from the U S. Army Air Corps Training School at Barksdale Field, Shreveport, Louisiana, last Saturday. Cadet Todd received his commission as a Second Lieutenant and will be assigned to the Air Corps as an instructor or for active service with one of the tactical units. He received his preliminary training in flying at the Oklahoma Air College, Oklahoma City, and previously received his B. S. degreein mechanical engineering at Indiana Technical College, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Orah Todd, Miss Winifred, Robert and Mrs. Michael Cohera, of Elkhart, and Mrs. B. D. Hunter, of Logansport, attended the graduation exercises at Barksdale Field last Saturday.
