Army InvestigatesBlaze That Cost jLives Of Quartet| -Pine Camp, N. Y., Dec. 11.——An army board of inquiry j searched today for the cause of a barracks fire in which four of-j fleers assigned to “exercise snow-dro*' ’ perished.Meanwhile, the victims were identified as:Lt. Robert Manly, Manhattan, Kas.; Lt. Wallace Swilley, High Springs. Fla.: Lt. Rudolph J. Feres, Binghamton, \'. Y.. and Capt. Robert L. Dodge, Petersburg, Va.Five other officers and an en-1 listed man were injured yesterday in the early morning fire, as it swept the two-story building. Eight officers leaped to safety from the windows of the flaming quarters.Because of the tragedy, the army postponed a special demonstration scheduled for today in the “exercise snowdrop ’ winter maneuvers at this Northern New York 1 Military Camp. jTwo of the injured were flown 1 j to Murphy General hospital at Waltham, Mass.
