Second DraftExpectedIn January1]1Selective Service Board No^4C wai preparing' itself today, to draft an unspecified number of Olean area men in January. «While no request for men has been received by the local Board, it was announced by Selective Service Headquarters in Albany that 20,456 draftees will be called in New York State, during January and 12,092 each month' thereafter until the nation’s quota ’ is filled.'The January total, five timeslarger than the.first draft, will bemade-up of 10,224 men. from New York City and; 10,232 front upstate.No exact figures .were available, but it tvas estimated that approximately twenty-five'men would be taken from the Olean draft area next 'month.
