Evans of 3480 Reynard Way, San Diego, participated in “Blue Lotus”~the largest U.S.First Fleet Exercise in three*years-ahorad the guided missile frigate USS Ilalsey.The exercixe was held off the coast of Southern California from November 28 to December 9. It involved 24,000 men in 45 ships and six air units.The strike force phase of the to train participating ships in the type of Naval warfare for which they were designed.
