CLOSE TO HOME TOWN OF WACO - David W. Sharp, center, smilingly enures the gag ot wearing Jumbo-sired insignia denoting his promotion to lieutenant colonel, US Air Force. Brigadier Geoeral John M. Kenderdine, right, Commander of the Defense Personnel Support Center. 2800 South 20ih St., Philadelphia, a Defense Supply Agency activity, is assisted by Mrs. Sharp at the promotion ceremony. Sharp is pr rently Acting Executive Officer of Procurement and Production, Directorate of Procurement and Production. A Texas AAM College graduate, Lt Colonel Sharp has done considerable traveling since leaving ROTC to receive an active duty commission of second lieutenant in June, 1949. He has served in Europe, Alaska, Japan, Okinawa, New York, Tennessee, and tor one year in 1961 served at Ft. Worth, Texas, which is fairly close to his home town, Waco. His wife is the former June Oliver, Lebonan, Tennessee, whose grandmother is Mrs. Fletcher Smotberman. Colonel Sharp is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer D. Sharp, 2600 AIM Vista Rd., Waco, Texas.
