Peterson, a Twin Falls high school graduate, has been commissioned second lieutenant and awarded his wings as an army air corps bomber pilot.Lieutenant Peterson, now here 011 leave, was graduated Sunday at the Marfn? Tex., army air field, a iwln-engine advanced training base. He had previously trained at Eagle field, Lancaster, Calif., for his basic course and at Sequoia field, Visalia, Calif., for his primary training.The new officer will leave Dec. 14 for Roswell, N .M.t where he will enter B-17 (Flying Fortress) special training.He and his wife nnd father, L. C. Peterson, now of Prosser, Wash., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Carl E.Ritchey and other friends here. Mrs. Peterson was with her husband dur-. ing his flight training.
