WILD DECORATEDCAMP SPRINGS, Md.-Major John E. Wild, brother of Arling Wild, Rt. 2, New Boston, Mo., has received the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal atAndrews AFB, Md.Maj. Wild was decorated for meritorious service asmaintenance officer for the 9th Air Commando Squadron at Nha Trang AB, Vietnam. He was cited for his outstanding professional skill and initiative.The major is now a pilot at Andrews with the H9th Military Airlift Wing, the special Air Force unit which provides air transportation for the President of the United States and other top government officials.Maj. Wild, a 1950 graduate of Bucklin (Mo.) High School, was commissioned in 1955 through the aviation cadet program.His wife, LaVeme, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewev Borror, 1221 S. ThirdSt., Arkansas City, Kan.
