Hillenbrand of Placerville, recently completed the M1A1 Tank Systems Technician Course with Marine Detachment, U.S. Army Armor Center and School, Fort Knox, Ky.During the six-week course, Hillenbrand received instruction on maintenance, trouHillenbrandbleshooting, and interpreting electrical and hydraulic diagrams. Hillenbrand also studied cleaning, replacing, and adjusting tank tuirct and gun systems.As a lank systems technician, Hillenbrand performs maintenance on the M1A1 Abrams main battle tank turret’s mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components.
