Sgt. Kennelh K. Lowe,. the son of Mrs. Andy K.Lowe. of 7JG Dorchester Avenue, was recently awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorius service while serving in the Republic of Vietnam as a card punch supervisor for the data service center, from January of 1971 to October. Sgl. Lowe is currently in a hospital at Fort Campbell where he is recovering from a leg injury suffered in Vietnam.
