F. of L. locals have voted an assessment of 5 cents a week on each member for an indefinite period to assist union bakers on strike at the Junge Baking Company's bread plant.The unions which voted the assessments, he said, are the teamsters' local No. S23, painters’ local No. 12, carpenters' local No. 311, and electricians’ local No. 95, Other locals, he said, will take up the proposition at next week’s meeting of the central labor body.
