Tech. Sgt. Richard M. Lyons, son of Mrs. Milton Lyons of 6 Main St. has received thefU. S. Air Force Commendation Medal at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.Slgt. Lyons was decorated for meritorious service as an instrumentation technician with the 6505th Aerospace Test Wing at Vandenberg.The sergeant, a 1965 graduateof Tupper Lake High School, received his A.A. degree in 1968 from Allan Hancock Junior College, Santa Maria, Calif.His wife, Claudette, is the daughter of Oliva Deschenes of Tupper Lake.
