Live in Germany 3 YearsPictured above are Sgt. 1-e and Mrs. Gerald Bowers andher daughter Sharon Kalvig taken just before they left Monday for Germany where Sgt. Bowers will be stationed for three years. Mrs. Bowers and daughter will remain at Canton, Ohio until receiving their port call. Sgt. Bowers sails from New York for Germany on Friday where he will be attached to the 7th Army in the 690th Field Artillery near Vaihaugen, north of Stuttgart, Germany. The Bowers had spent a 30 day furlough with his parents, the Harry Bowers and with other relatives here and at Lawler.
