RICHARD C. LEE, a Navy data processing technician first class who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R. Lee, Lakeside, was honored at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, as one of the most outstanding military leaders in the Pacific area. He received the NavyLeague’s annual Navy Day award for special achievement. The awards are presented each year for outstanding military bearing and appearance, individual achievement and leadershipqualities. They are sponsored by the Honolulu Council of the Navy League to honor career Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard junior officers and enlisted personnel. Lee serves with Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor. A former student of Phoenix Junior College, Phoenix, he joined the Navy in June 1967.
