Snarr, 2900 Teton St., has been promoted to Army Spec. 5 in Vietnam, where he is serving with the 116th Engineer Battalion.A personnel records specialist in the battalion’s Headquarters Co. near Bao Loc, Spec. Snarr entered the Army in May 1964, completed basic training at Ft. Ord, Calif., and was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Wash., before arriving in Vietnam last September.The 24- year- old specialist graduated from Bonneville High School, Idaho Falls, in 1963, and attended Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and Ricks 1 College, Rexburg, Idaho. He was employed by the R. T. French Co., Shelley, before entering the Army.His wife, Carol, lives on Route 3, Idaho Falls.
