Two Helena Men Are Inducted Into U.S. ArmyTwo Helena men, inducted into the army Nov. 29. have been ordered to report for basic training at Fort Ord, Calif., according to Mrs. Genevie Sherrard, clerk of the Selective Service board here.The men, both graduates of Helena Senior High school, are Jerry L. Malervi, son of Mrs. Lillian Malervi, 414 Stewart Homes, and Jerald P. Richards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Richards, 907 Chestnut. Before entering the service, Malervi was employed by Parts Supply, Inc. Richards was employed by the Montana Power company.Both men will serve a tw'o-year tour of duty with the army.
