Five pointed stars, representing Texas. frlt;*m the broken border, making a plate suggestive and representative of the Texas chapters.Of interest here is the fact that the design, chosen at the Grand Chapter meeting 'n Houston two year* ago, wasoriginated by Mrs. Charles Gatewood of IK-uton. and chosen from among several hundred others entered. The designs were sent to England, drawings made and the plates designed from the drawings.
