As his folks herechave had no message from the war dempartment it is to be supposed that thewounds are of a minor character. Edgar is the third of the Rainbow hoysfrom Brighton city to be wounded, butas yet none have been reported killed, and all are hopeful that the boysstill with the regiment came throughthe last two weeks of fighting withoutin jury. All of the boys from nearBrighton who were in the llt;8th Sergeant Ilyron Hamilton, Wayne Simer-nian, Ben Cherry and Glen Shusterhave been wounded but none seriously.Corp. Leonard Bristow is in a hospital in France with an attack of pneumonia. The last letter his parentshad from hint was written October25th while in England, but a telephonemessage Tuesday morning from Mrs.-Smith, the wife of Leonard's captain brought the above report without any particulars.
