Brazil Marines Get Training A San Diego, Cal.SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FHTNC)— Larry H. Joyner, son of Mrs. Moyne Lister of 444 E. Church St., and Wilson L. Vannice, son of Mrs. Frank Payne, of 322 W. Compton St., all of Brazil, Ind., completed recruit training Nov, 23 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Di-•go, Calif.Relatives and friends of manyof the new Marines were on hand to witness the graduation ceremonies.The 12-week training schedule included drill, bayonet training, physical conditioning, parades and ceremonies, and other military subjects.Three weeks were spent on the rifle range where the recruits fired the M-l rifle and received instruction in basic Marine infantry weapons.
