The right side cf the huge 051 was badly scuffed.The Navy plane, its tail surface* and right wingtip damaged, landed at Alameda Naval Air Station, guided by an air rescue plane from Hamilton Air Force Base.Aboard the Navy plane were the pilot, Lt. J. L_ Scoggins and Lt. R. Taylor, the copilot, of Berkeley. The hospital plane, on a training mission from Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, was piloted by Capt. Leslie E.
