Hospital PlaneEscapes CollisionSTOCKTON. Calif., Dec. 2. lt;.* An Air Force hospital plane and a navy trainer were badly damaged Jn an unexplained collision at 6.000 feet near here yesterday but both limped to safe landings.*ITte hospital plane, on a training mission from Texas with only a four-man crew aboard, landed at Travis Air Force base minus a propellor. The right side of the huge C54 was badly scuffed.The navy plane, its tail surfaces and right wingtip damaged, landed at Alameda Naval Air Station, guided by an air rescue plane from Hamilton Air Forye base.Aboard the navy plane were the pilot, Lt. J. L. Scoggins and Lt. R. Taylor, the copilot, of Berkeley. The hospital plane, on a training mission from Brooks Air Force base, Texas, was piloted by Capt. Leslie E.
