SGT. JULIUS F. GREER MISSING IN ACTIONMrs. Julius Franklin Greer, of Monticello has been notified that her husband, Sgt. Julius Franklin Greer Jr., U. S. Army Air Corps, has been missing in action since November 5. Sgt. Greer is a son of Julius Franklin Greer and the late Mrs. . Bessiei *White Greer of Monticello. He is a grandson of the late Dr. A. F, White, widely known physician of Butts county, and Mrs. White, who now resides in Flovilla. His wife was the former Miss Frapces McElheney, teacher in the public schools of Monroe, Walto ncounty, and his only sister is Mrs. C. D. Heard.Friends of the family in Buttsand Jasper counties hope that Sgt.*Greer and the other members of his plane parachuted to safety, andChat good news will be received by his relatives later.
