Associated with Wagner will b? Anatolo Royer of this city who, as many of the older residents of this city will recall, was connected with the Schmidt Wine Co., and Garrett Wine Co., for many years. He was also in charge of the wine making of Sandusky Wineries, Inc., from its inception. Mr. Royer, who is 81 years old, was born in the famous wine, district of France and from boyhood on has been connected in some capacity or another with the wine industry.The Sandusky Wineries, Inc., plant is located at Campbell and Boalt-sts, having been purchased in 1932 at. the repeal of prohibition by the Culver interests. Frank S. Hafner, who has been man agin; the wine company for the Culvers, will remain in the new organization to represent the Culver interests, it is stated.The Sandusky Wineries building has a capacity for handling 300,000 gallons of wine. When the property was turned over to the new management there were 240,000 gallons of wine in storage and more than 3,000 bottles of champagne.Real estate and other property involved in the winery deal represent assets estimated to be worth several hundred thousand dollars, the new owners statlt;\The new owners were Represented in the transaction by Attorney John By of the law firm of Flynn, Froh-man.
