w11t-Benito ManPasses AwayGeorge Irwin Greig passed away In Benito hospital on November 16th. The funeral service was held in Benito United Church on November 22nd, Rev. P. Edgar Jarvis officiating, and interment was made in Benito cemetery.Mr. Greig was born at Newdale. Manitoba, in 1896 and was a resident of Benito, where he was Imperial Oil Agent for the past 19 years.He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, two sons, Murray, Benito, and Willis, Atikokan, Ont. Also two daughters, Edna, Mrs. Fred Anderson. Calgary and Maxine, Mrs. Donald Suggitt, of KenvUle. Three brothers, Will, at Swan River, Jim at Flin Plon and Bob at Bowsman. There are two giend-children.Pall bearers were Legion members: Messrs Robert Scouten, Bev. Abigail, Blair Stewart, Kerry Lyons, Hymie Tax and Douglas Corbett.Mr. Greig served with the Canadian Army in the 1st World War and has been Imperial Oil Agent in Benito for the past 19 years. He also served on the Benito town council for a number of years.
