OAK PARK, WEDDINGS.SAHTER-HDMPHREY.The wedding of Mr. Carl Sauter and Miss Elizabeth R. Humphrey was cele* brated at half past 1, Nov. 28, at the First Congregational Church. The father of the bride, Rev. Dr. Humphrey, assisted by Dr. Barton, pastor of the church, and by the brother of the bride. Rev. William B. Humphrey, performed the ceremony.Charming music was furnished by a section of the Thomas Orchestra, of which the groom is a member, and among the delightful selections was a wedding march composed by himself. The bridesmaids were Misses Nettie Howe, Marguerite Siddal, Isabella and Jessie Rankin. Miss Elizabeth Slack was maid of honor. The flower children were Paul and Elsa Phoel, nephew and niece of the groom. The dress of the bride was the same her mother had worn thirty-four years before. It was untouched by the effects of time and appeared as neat and pretty as on the former occasion. Beautiful palms filled the platform, and the German and American flags, significant of the nationality of the bride and groom, gracefully floated side by* side. In the church parlors dainty refreshments were served the bridal party under the skillful direction of M1 Anna Rankin.
