ONSLOW COUNTYWreck victim is identifiedThe name of the Marine who died in a motorcycle accident Thursday was released late Friday.Bryan Wayne Pierceall, 23, was a lance corporal with B Company, MP Battalion, 2nd Force Service Support Group. He was from Florida.Pierceall was driving west on N.C. 24 around 8:30 p.m. when he was hit by a Ford Mustang making a left into McDonalds at the corner of Western Boulevard.Pierceall’s motorcycle exploded on impact. He died at Onslow Memorial Hospital.The driver of the Mustang, Loren Douglass Jones, 22, of Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, was charged with a safe movement violation and misdemeanor death by a motorvehicle.
