M., Aug. 30 (/p)—Twenty-six internees including Fritz Kuhn, fomer German-American bund leader, are oh a hunger strike, at. the internment camp there, A. M. Tenny, department of justice officer in charge, said today.Tenny said the strike sought redress of some supposed mistreatment and the demands vvero unjustified and unreasonable.” The hunger strikers, he said, are ail in good physical condition and there is plenty of food for them. He predicted- the strikers would resume their meals -before long, adding the kitchen is open at all times.” Whatever they do is up to them,” Tenny said. We are strictly complying with the Geneva convention.'*The camp here has been open for about ihreo years.
