WOUNDEDWilliam (Bill) Thomipson, aboveis in the U. S. Naval Hospital inSan Diego, California, recoveringfrom wounds received in a Navalbattle. Bill is a veteran of over fouryears m service, having been wound.ed previously in the Solomons’ NavalBattle but recovered fully. He isthe son of Mr. and Mrs. WilliamThompson of this city. His mothersays this is the third ship he hasbeen stationed on to be sunk. He hasone brother, Earl, in France, whohas jus-1 been dismissed from thehospital from injuries he received) on D.Day.
