Encampment at Indiana's Capital*The scenes about out state capital will be enlivened with the arrival ofG. A. R. men, their families and visitors, next week. It will be a pleasure week for the old soldiers, who will enjoy themselves in the best of manner. These national encampments are eagerly awaited bythe boys in blue. But a lew yearsyet remain for such enjoyable times. Soon the mighty General will call his men from the field after life's battle has been fought. Worden Post, No. 205, G. A. R., of Albion, will leave for Indianapolis, Monday, next, on the 3:45 a. m. train for Milford Junction, where they will take the old C. W. M., better known as the “Big Four, for Indianapolis. Post Commander William Trump will be the commanding officer of the Albion lodge during the grand parade, next Tuesday.The boys have secured good, comfortable quarters on Market street, near the court house, and will be near Commander-m-Chief Weissert's headquarters. The badges that will be worn by the ex-soldiers haye arrived and were distributed at the meeting last Saturday. They are pretty in design and will be among the finest ones worn by any post in attendance. They are made of red, white and blue silk ribbon, with two crossed Hags—the flags are furled from the badge and the effect is real pretty upon the national colored background. At the top a neat tri-colored bow is conspicuous. The name of the post is printed in neat gold letters.The post expects to have a special car of their own from the junction to the capital. The Albion band had been engaged to go, but at present writing concluded not to accompany the post. A meeting will be held at Worden hall next Saturday evening, to complete arrangements.
