SERGT. MANUEL SERRANO, 24, ispictured above as he appeared on rejoining his paratroop outfit in Italy after 20 months’' absence. The Puerto Rico-bom GI who has lived in Brooklyn since he 'was five years old, was captured by Nazis in Tunisia in November, 1942, and escaped from prison camp in Italy in September, 1943.
