Maring of 334 East Fourth street, has been promoted from the rank of lieu*; tenant junior grade to full lieuten ▼ ant. He has been stationed at SanJuan, Puerto Rico for the for the past two and a half years. Lieutenant Mar«^ ing is the trans-™ portation officer for the district. He was graduated from Ot-t u m w a high school, attende4| Iowa Success school and re-j ceived his bachelor of laws degree at the Southeastern university, where he was taking a post graduate course when he was com-I missioned an ensign in the nava^ lt;air corps. His brother, Paul A« Maring. is taking radar training i in the army.
