RITES FOR WINNEGONNE VETERAN OF CIVIL WARtVUmcconne. U’is. — ■ Special' — Military riles were lickl Saturday afternoon lor Amrin Doughty, civil war veteran, at Jus home and at the Baptist church. Rev. H. E. Mansfield of Allenvillc and Rev. O. P. Lovtk of Omro officiated, and burial was at Bell cemetery.Organizations which look part were the Women’s Relief corps, David Bradley post of the American Legion of Omro, and tbe Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Among out of town people attending were Mr, and Mrs. Harvey Doughty ancl Mr. and Mrs. Robert Douglit%r of Loretta; Chester Doughty and Earl Doughty of New London; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Doughty of Rushford; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Doughty of Stephensvillc; Orville Buck of Waupaca; Mrs. Frank Becker of Oshkosh; Mrs. E. M. Hanson and sons, of Winchester.Mr. Doughty’s musical instrument was the fife, and it was frequently heard with a fife and drum corps on patriotic occasions. Two other veterans of the civil war, Andrew Olen and Frank Young, remain in Winneconno. Both attended the funeral.
