at Granville, Tuesday, Aug. 2.1Tuesday the citizens of Granvillese-were again called upon to demonstrate their ability and willingness to entertain the ex-soldiers. How well they succeeded was fully attested by the expressions of pleasure gl^en by the visitors. •*—* —- i i|' ' ' ' 8 ~---------- -When the surviving members of Co.D, 22d O. V. I., accompanied by theirwives and children, arrived in Granville in the morntng, the first thing toattract their attention was,the profusion of flags and bunting which decorated most of the business houses. This was an indication that the causefor which they battled was not forgotten by the loyal citizens of Granville. After all the members of the company had arrived, which was about half past nine o’clock, they assembled in the Town Hall to hold their busi-byterian church, for their kindness inolassmatgiving us the use of their church parlors, and also the ladies of the social circle for the manner in whichprovided a most bounteful dinner an$elegant lunch on that occasion;, alsoto the quartette which rendered suchpleasant music at the camp fire; and, also, to the citizens of Granville for*their kind and patriotic assist^pqe forour entertainment.Georgk B.
