Pvt. George A. Harper, son of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Harper,Neosho, left Aug. 17 for Fort Knox, Ky., to complete a six-months training course with the National Guards. He will be assigned to a tank division there. He received his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood where he won the highest score award of his company. He is a 1965 graduate of Neosho High School. !
