Wounded in legFrom an English hospital comes this letter from Wilbert Grandt of Arlington Heights, who was wounded in France.“Here I am again and right now I’ve sure got plenty of time towrite. I’ve been in France and Iam now back in England convalescing from wounds received in combat. The doctors say in two weeks I’ll be all well and set to go hack in but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.“They’re really pushing those ‘Kraut Heads’ back and we intend to keep on pushing till they yeli ‘Uncle.’ Altho it looks good by the news flashes, it’ll take time and plenty of everything to do it, so nerc’s hoping that it’ll be oversoon.“Say hello to all my friends for me and teil them to keep plugging back home and we’ll do our share. Got one ‘Kraut’ of my own so far and when I go back in I hope to get a couple more.’’His address is: Pfc Wilbert H.Grandt, 36372232, APO 63, c-o PM, New York, N. Y.
