S. 5-20s -fl now constitute three-fourths of all the business done at the Frankfort Bourse, Germany. Prominent bankers estimate thenmount of United States bonds in Germany and Holland, at the present at.not less.than 8200,000,000. In fact, many importers sell their goods in New York, and direct their correspondents to.remit.their pay in 5-20s, instead of. exchange. It is stated that Dondou and Liverpool merobants are doing the same, and thus send them to the Frankfort Bourse for sale. To-day these securities are more. than six per cent' higher than they are in New York. Loans are readily effected on them at the rate of five per cent from three to six months. .A hog nine feet in length and weigh-ing 1162 pounds, recently died natural death at Palmyra in this state..
